A few weeks ago, I was able to attend an all day crop with my good scrappy buddy, Amanda. It was good day filled with creating, gabbing and girl time. The day flew by.... I'm always amazed at how fast time flies when you are doing something you totally enjoy.
The thing about crops - especially ones that are just a day vs a weekend one - is that you have to be selective in what you bring (in both supplies and photos). In preparation for this crop, I went thru my photos and selected some random ones that simply moved me. They were ones that have been in the box for a while and that when I looked at them, they screamed at me to tell the story behind the photo!
This first layout was a photo I snapped with my iPhone this summer of our chocolate lab - Viansa. The papers I used were feminine and hopefully added to the beauty of her just sitting on the deck.
For this layout, I had been dying to something with these photos of the girl and her first lost tooth. The photos are so her.... being all saucy and such.
This next group of photos were taken in 2004. The husband and I were newly engaged and young in love. We were in Vegas for a work trip and stayed a few extra days to do some touristy things. Loved the colors in the photos...
I'm usually the one behind the camera, so there aren't too many pages in the scrapbook about me. When I found these scans of old photos of me from 1975 (top photo) and 1970 (bottom photo), I knew I had to do a layout. I love the beach.... and now I have a layout about how this love started at an early age.
